Grading
Grading for the course breaks down as follows: (1) 10 weblog posts (50 points each = 500 points); (2) National Mall Photo Essay (500 points); TOTAL = 1000 POINTS. Thus, you final grade will be broken down as follows:
- A = 900-1000 points
- B = 800-899 points
- C = 700-799 points
- D = 600-699 points
- F = less than 600 points
Other grades:
- I – There are no incompletes given in this course, except in cases of bona fide and documented instances in accordance with the regulations of the university.
- S – For a “satisfactory†grade, a “C†average is required.
If you receive a grade or criticism with which you do not agree, feel free to discuss it with me during my office hours or by appointment, but be prepared to make your case. I will discuss grades only in person, so please make an appointment with me or see me during office hours.
