My name is Tanveer. I’m 19 years old. It’s currently my second year at GMU. I don’t like history nor do I hate it. I think that history is important, but at the same time I think it is boring.

Hi my name is mariam and I dont like history that much.

lovin’ history

history is not that bad. it’s different and you’ll learn a lot of things from around the world. the more interesting it is, the more you’ll remember it. history seems to be more about killing people and having power to rule everyone.

Why I’m taking History

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

Hi, I’m Lori. I don’t really know what i want to learn in this class. I know a good amount about history. . . not so much about computers.

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

My name is Harjit Jathoul, I am a full time student and taking this class as a requirement for my degree. I enjoy history to a certain point. Just like everyone else I enjoy the interesting parts about history. Hopefully this class will be easy and informative.

I totally just changed my title (chandelier)

Hey, I’m Bret. I’m a music major in my sophomore year. My roomate and I just recently installed a dilapidated chandelier in our dorm room, and it really makes the place a lot classier. We really benefit from this juxtaposition to the rest of our messy, random room (which we once filled up with almost 400 balloons). We now have a tally on our bathroom mirror for how many times we hit our heads on the low chandelier. I’m up to 23 at this current point in time.

I don’t like history because the information is boring to me, although I feel this class will be somewhat more interesting and easier for me to get through than the typical history class. I am a business major with a communications minor.

Hi there,

My name is Stephanie M. Foster.  I am from Bristol, TN and I am a freshman. I do and don’t like history.  Sometimes I remember the information, sometimes I don’t.  I have not yet declared my major, however, I am thinking about Medical School, therefore I may be a Bio Major.  I don’t know at this point.

I’m Colin K.

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

Hi everybody. I’m Colin K. and odds are that you will never talk to me either in or outside of class. Don’t worry about it, I’m used to it. I mostly enjoy video games and movies. If you wanna talk to me about specific ones, catch me before I rush off to do nothing in my dorm.

I like certain parts of history. As with everything, it depends on the subject matter. A good example would be that I find World War II very exciting, but the almost anything during the 1800’s will put me to sleep. (Save for parts of the Civil War.)

Hi! I’m Nisreen

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

My name is Nisreen, History is not my best subject, but if I had to choose a topic of history to study, I would choose American History!!!!

Greg

Thursday, January 25th, 2007

Hey,

I’m Greg, and this is my fourth year at GMU. Im finishing up my BS in Information Technology and I hope to one day go as far as attaining my Masters and Doctorate in Information Technology. I have also finished my Minors in Buisness here at GMU, it was only three more, three credit courses, so why not. History is not a strong subject for me, I personally only know the history of cars and computers, not much else. Sayings like, “In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue”, are about the only tid bits of history that I care about or even know. I’m taking this class because its a requirement to graduate. Thats about it.
